Wednesday 28/12/11 Hit the road at about 7.30am,into Esperance for gas food etc,then 200ks for camp overnight at Lake Cowan no water here though.Hot and lousy with flies but you get that here early to bed another early day tomorrow.

Left 6am for Coolgardie,stopped at roadside place for breakfast ,arrived about mid morning to find most of it closed very old town lots of history here centred around gold mining,unfortunate for us not much opened on to Kalgoorlie.
Set up vans and into Kalgoorlie visitor centre to book for the Nullabor Links Golf.
For the princely some of $70/person you play golf at various Golf Links(we use that description lightly) across the Nullabor it is designed I think so people stop regularly and have a stretch and get fresh air etc a great idea.
The first two holes are played here on this new course the pro working here loaned us a buggy to drive around to check out the course (as if thats going to help me).Pete do you remember the day we played at Boolaroo Course well you know the standard I play at.
Friday 30/12/11 Played our first two holes today all holes are named 1)Hannan Street Par 5 365 metres
Gail 10 shots Wayne 8 shots.
2)Golden Mile Par 4 339 metres Gail 11 shots Wayne 12 shots
Had a good time lovely course, an oasis out here really lots to learn about golf though.
